Is this microwave loud when in use? Is the fan loud? null

Of all the Microwaves I have had (10-12) this KitchenAid is the most quiet.

The microwave is very quiet when running, as is the vent fan. You can barely hear the oven over ambient noise in a kitchen. You're aware that the vent fan is running, but it's by no means a distraction.

Fan is no louder than the microwave I rrplaced by GE

Not at all... great microwave! Only thing missing is the quick button for a Minute... it has it for 30 seconds.... Ok so you hit it twice! It's a great machine!

No. As with most appliance, you can hear it running, but it is quiet as far as appliances go.
