The KR577KPS does NOT have ice in freezer area. It is sadly in the refrigerator just like the 507 model. See pictures.

Please try again later.Hello Moan17, besides the dimension differences, the differences are KRFF577KPS-This model is Fingerprint resistant Stainless Steel, Ice Maker is located is Freezer, Platinum interior, and Sabbath Mode. KRFF507HSS- this model is just Stainless Steel, Ice Maker is located in Refrigerator section. The water filter will need to be changed in both models every 6 months. We hope this helps.
