No there is not unless to alter the unit which will void the warranty. You can drill out gas holes larger (not recommended) or cut feet off the grates to bring pan closer to flame. Insure you have enough gas pressure though but if you had existing gas you should be ok. I could only boil water on center burner and kitchen aid just said I need to get new pots and pans. That would be a no. I went with a brand called Smeg and could not be happier. I can boil water on all burners now. I hope you can return item.
