“The instruction manual that came with our new Kitchenaid KOSE500 says the oven bake temperature can be set from 145 degrees to 550 degrees F. However, the lowest temperature we've been able to set is 170 degrees. I like to use 145 -150 for warming plates.”

I remember seeing that too - but elsewhere in the manual it says 170º is the lowest. I have found that 170º works well for keeping things warm and warming things up - just a little faster than my old oven that went s low as 135º.
