• Yes. I use cast iron a lot. If you are unsure which pots and pans to use, put a magnet to the bottom. If the magnet sticks..it will work on induction. I always lift my heavy cast iron instead of sliding, as I'm afraid it might scratch the cooktop. I haven't had any problems, I just do it to be safe
