• As with any shedder/grinder would depend on the consistency of the cheese. Parmesan no problem. Other cheeses like mozzarella I would put in the freezer for a little while to firm them up.

• Not a good idea. The cheese would not be grated or shredded. It would compress into a mess. You will need a food processor.

• Hi Tol419, We would recommend cutting the cheese into smaller pieces and partially freeze the cheese for better grinding.
