A:AnswerHi Debra, The body of the food grinder attachment is aluminum and not dishwasher safe. The blades and other parts are stainless steel and able to be placed in the dishwasher.
A:AnswerCut chicken breast into pieces then start grinding. This is stronger than the plastic one. Cheaper is not better in this case. Happy grinding!!!
A:AnswerI’d imagine it could. I chopped my meat in chunks and slightly froze them. It worked out much better than room temp. I would assume frozen fruit would be fine.
A:AnswerThe metal food grinder does not feature a shave option. A Fresh Prep Slicer/Shredder attachment would be the best choice of shaving cooked meat and cheeses.
A:AnswerI will try but I would say no, the spiral part that pushes what ever you need to be ground to the blades would not push vegetables. It is designed to push meat texture, sometimes doesn’t even do that well unless the meat is very cold.
A:Answerit is a food grinder. If you do not own a food grinder than buying an attachment on your already owned mixer is a convenient thing. it works perfectly fine compared to every grinder I've ever used. I mostly use mine for chicken breasts but it is definitely worth it. clean up is easy and you can store it just about anywhere.
A:AnswerIt’s a grinder, not a grater. Your squash would be mush.
You could grind cooked roast for somebody that can’t chew, but it would not be burger. It would be mushy meat.
