Cut chicken breast into pieces then start grinding. This is stronger than the plastic one. Cheaper is not better in this case. Happy grinding!!!

The white plastic one, which I also have is better for fruits and vegetables, but chicken breasts and other meats that don’t have a fiberous texture will be OK in the plastic version. I would suggest that the metal one be used for meats because it can be sterilized by boiling in water.
