this mixer is larger and more heavy duty

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This one has a wide bowl compaired to the older bowl. On most od thr older ones the head lifted out of the bowl where this on the bowl is what moves . Also a bit more power than the standard home kitchen aid.
