You can use the system anywhere. However, if you are a DJ, you know that this system is nowhere near a commercial grade equipment. This is a home system. It was designed as such (for example, the speakers have the cables coming out of them instead of having to be plugged) so you run the risk of making the speaker useless if the cable gets damaged.

You can use it as a speaker system for your turntable, but you'll have to connect the speakers to the earphone jack on amp.

If you are limited on space yes. If you have a expensive nice unit I would go with floor standing speakers. This system is great with a computer.

Depends on the venue. If it's for personal use this would be just fine, if for actual performance purposes I don't think these would be ideal.

Might not be able to handle the wattage your preamp puts out...buy as far as just straight from your comp...I would recommend it....unless you want to pay 1500 for a Bose system...this will do...

yes it would be part of the sounds that would be coming from the lp player
