Great for Music Lovers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After 7 years, one of the speakers of my much loved 2.1 Logitech system crapped out and it was time to look for something new. After much research I had to decide on a system optimized for gaming or music. Since I do very little gaming, it was an easy choice after listening to this Klipsch system. I am very happy with the sound and hope they last as long as my previous system. Much better than the current offerings by Logitech and Boston Acoustics. YMMV As a side note, I have repurposed the sub from the old Logitech system and hooked it up to two BIC Venturi bookshelf speakers I got on the cheap and now have a kick-a** 2.1 system for the TV to combine with the soundbar.

This set is great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice clear and clean sound and I listen to bass heavy EDM. Get's louder than you can stand when sitting in front of it. Blows the Bose stuff out of the water. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Highly Recommend
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Anything branded with the name Klipsch is a winner. When I first tried this unit out at Best Buy, I was blown away. This system deliver rich, clear, full bodied sound. At the time, it by far was the most superior system Best Buy was offering by a landslide. Don't hesitate at all in taking this one home. Enjoy!!

Fantastic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing quality sound. I appreciate that the cords are long so they can reach my computer; however, this might be too much for people who have a computer right by their speakers. Also, the current picture does not show the covers that the two speakers have. They are solid black and conceal the moving parts of the speaker.

All I Can Say is WOW!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just hooked these up and I thought I should preview a movie before time to eat supper. So I started watching The Revenant using VLC Media player. I had the audio on my pc set at 31 and turned up the speakers to about 25%. They sound loud, clear but just a tiny bit muddied. So i paused the movie, went to the equalizer settings and set it on Live. I then slightly moved the sliders up in the high frequency section and resumed my movie. There's that WOW! Man, when the bear attacks the guy you better stand back. I closed my eyes and I could swear there was a bear on me. Whew! I sure am glad I got these. Now if they'll last for a few years I'll be happy. Awesome Speakers!

Great Speakers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being an owner of theolder ProMedia 4.1 and 5.1 Ultra THX systems, I can POSITIVELY say that this 2.1 system DOES NOT dissapoint! Same great Klipsch sound quality and volume you'd expect from a brand like Klipsch. For looks and sound, satellites are virtually identical to the ones you get with the 4.1 system, with the control pod on the bottom of one of them to adjust volume and bass, and the headphone jack on the side of the pod. The subwoofer is considerably smaller than the one offered with the ProMedia 4.1 system however, I was pleasantly surprised by the output of it. At high volumes, It's output is lower than the 4.1's due to the smaller, single driver design, but don't let the size fool you, this sub is more than enough for any small to mid-sized room, and WILL rattle the windows AND shake the walls! As a proud owner of the entire Klipsch ProMedia line (with the exception of the GMX series), i can say that the 2.1 system does not disappoint. It will smash ALL OTHER speaker systems in it's price-point, and provides the best bang-for-the-buck! The only other system on the market that can compete with the ProMedia 2.1 system is the Bose Companion 2.1 however, you will pay approx 2-3 times more for them.

Q: QuestionIs there a OFF and On switch for the ProMedia 2.1 speakers???Thank you!
Asked by Adrian.
- A:Answer No but the volume control throttles back to zero for no sound. And the subwoofer is controlled separately if you want full volume to it, or partial, or none, using its own volume control know placed conveniently on the right desktop speaker next to the main volume control. But if you want the indicator light on the right speaker to go out and literally not have power to any of the three speakers, then you have to unplug them from the outlet or power strip.

Q: Questionwill these speakers connect to a brand new samsung 3d tv for better listening than the tv puts out?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes you can and yes they will sound better. Make sure your tv has audio output jacks. You will need a female 3.5 mm to male stereo rca jack adapter. Also you will probably need to change your audio output source in your tv setup menu from tv speakers to external speakers. For a little more money your best option is to get a sound bar with a wireless subwoofer, bluetooth , optical and a 3.5 mm aux input . You can still play your phone, tablet , ipod etc via the bluetooh or aux input. I have a lg sound bar with a wireless subwoofer and it sounds awsome, if you hear jurrasic park playing through them you would be amazed. A nice home theater surround sound system would be great also but most systems you have alot of speaker wires to run around your room.Dont get me wrong the klipsch 2.1 promedia speakers sound great but they are designed to be hooked up to a computer, or a portable media device. The lg soundbar is designed for a tv and has special sound effects and a wireless subwoofer which sounds great behind where you are sitting. A good sound bar will cost around $250 to $300 but well worth the investment in my opinion. Sound effects are a very important part of any movie you watch making it come alive. Thats why movie theaters and movie studios invest so much in the movies sound.
