The TV must have mini stereo jack which will output the sound. There is no other connection option.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can and yes they will sound better. Make sure your tv has audio output jacks. You will need a female 3.5 mm to male stereo rca jack adapter. Also you will probably need to change your audio output source in your tv setup menu from tv speakers to external speakers. For a little more money your best option is to get a sound bar with a wireless subwoofer, bluetooth , optical and a 3.5 mm aux input . You can still play your phone, tablet , ipod etc via the bluetooh or aux input. I have a lg sound bar with a wireless subwoofer and it sounds awsome, if you hear jurrasic park playing through them you would be amazed. A nice home theater surround sound system would be great also but most systems you have alot of speaker wires to run around your room.Dont get me wrong the klipsch 2.1 promedia speakers sound great but they are designed to be hooked up to a computer, or a portable media device. The lg soundbar is designed for a tv and has special sound effects and a wireless subwoofer which sounds great behind where you are sitting. A good sound bar will cost around $250 to $300 but well worth the investment in my opinion. Sound effects are a very important part of any movie you watch making it come alive. Thats why movie theaters and movie studios invest so much in the movies sound.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe so, I haven't seen it since Christmas but I can tell you just about any system will sound better than what at TV produces. With that said, yes this thing quality wise was as good if not better than a very nice sound bar. I would have no problem recommending for this application.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These speakers are action packed with great specifications. I would say absolutely yes! I have mine hooked up to my Sharp TV and they sound great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only if the TV has a headphone jack
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That all depends. The speakers themselves only have a 1/8" male headphone jack as input, so your TV would have to either have a headphone jack or RCA audio out. For RCA out, you would need to get a converter, but it would work. Be aware that if you do either of the above when turning on the tv you may get a loud pop as the speakers register a signal. This would be really bad long term for the speakers. However, if you don't, this may work really well. The Promedia's are awesome.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes.....just be sure to buy the 3.5mm RCA adapter which will allow the speakers to plug into your TV. The only draw back was not having a remote control to lower or raise volume, but for the price and quality, that was just fine with me. I have been using my Klipsch speakers with my 55" LED smart TV that I purchased in October 2014 and have been happier than with any of the soundbars that I bought and tried first.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can, but the method will depend on your TV capabilities. If your TV has a headphone jack, you can plug it directly into them. You will have to experiment with turning off your internal speakers, or keeping them on depending on how the sound balances. If you do not have a headphone plug, you can get a 1/8" to dual male RCA adapter at your local radio shack and plug them into one of the audio inputs of the TV. In either case, it should result in a dramatic improvement in your sound.
