• The line out should work fine - just be sure to set the crossover on the sub to about 90. (You can experiment with this number for optimum results).

• Sorry, not familiar with the Sony STR-DH190. I see it has a left and right line out but you would have to read the owners manual and see if it talks about how to hook up a subwoofer with it. If it's not in the owners manual I would call Sony and get technical support.
