No. Just plug it into "L". All of the directional information is in the higher frequencies and the sub's crossover will eliminate them anyway. There's no real directional information in the bass frequencies because humans can't localize low frequencies. So even when you plug it into the "L" only, when the tyrannosaurus (did I spell that right?) walks from left to right through your living room, it will sound correct. This is exactly how mine is wired and it sounds perfect.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Looks like your connection is pre-sub out, so all you need is a RCA cable with left and right connectors. Just plug them in to pre-out LR and connect them to LR in on sub-woofer. You could use your existing cable but would need a Y adapter. Best solution is to buy a subwoofer cable that Best Buy sells. I had to buy one that was about $15 that is a single cable cause I am using LFE out and LFE in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just put a left and right to both ends .white and red but color doesnt mater.i dont understand about an adapter it looks like left and right to both not clear on the adapter picture. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, No, You only need a one end to one end cable and on sub it goes in the input that says L/LFE. Same on Onkyo Rec, sub out 1 or LFE. Hope it helps. Also I had a Friend of mine calibrate the entire System, if You have an expert please do so because this Sub is so powerfull since it has it’s own amplifier it can explode if not calibrated properly. Mine is with the Onkyo 9.2 rec.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.well your Onkyo should have L and R output. the sub can take L and R but also has a switch for just the L
