I have a 2500 cubic inch room and use one of these subs and it does fine. It fills the room adequately with bass. My den is 5000 cubic inches and I prefer to use an svs ultra 16" subwoofer. It rumbles the entire den and the rooms next to it with extreme prejudice. Price for one svs ultra $2500. If you can get a great deal buy four subs. It just depends on how much you are willing to spend.
