I have the same issue. When I took my system back to BestBuy, the service guy connected his phone via Bluetooth and said it was working. He suggested I connect the TV using optical digital cable. I did, no improvement. Very, very disappointing. Should have bought the JBL.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also just bought this system today and the bass is non existent or extremely underwhelming. I have to crank the sound bar to unbearable volume to get anything out of the bass. Hope this is an easy fix and something I've done wrong. I am using a digital audio cable.
