“How are these special compared to bookshelf speakers? Would I be able to just get bookshelf speakers and make an angled stand to get the same thing? Like how do these compare to 1065839 R-51-M?”

I actually tried using an older pair of Infinity and Wharfedale bookshelf’s angled up towards the ceiling. But after getting the Klipsch I decided that fiber cones don’t perform/sound as well in this application.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Though the specs are not explained - this one says it conforms to Dolby Atmos specs. the other bookshelf speakers are not. I am using it on a 7.2 channel receiver. Otherwise it is a surround speaker. It will hang on the wall very well better than a bookshelf speaker when you are mounting it at a height
