Your biggest issue is the Way this is formatted must be compatible with Mac Pro & Windows. Or have the Mac read and write as a Windows unit. Other option is to partition the drive in 2 parts. One Mac & Other part Windows. I would use it one one system alone. Use it on the system you use the most.
