Q: Does this work with the Apple Thunderbolt monitors? I have struggled getting the newer Macbooks to work with the old Apple Monitors

A: You can use an Apple Thunderbolt to Thunderbolt 2 adaptor and then an Apple Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 adaptor to the included usb C to usb C cable and connect to this SSD drive. You will want to format it to Mac OS Extended Journaled with Disk Utility on your Mac.

Q: My 13" Mac pro 2013 is NOT a Retina display model nor does it have a USB-C port. Would this work if I got a USB-C to USB-3.0 adapter?

A: The Samsung T5 comes with a usb c to usb c cable as well as a usb c to usb a cable. You can plug it into your Mac Pro 2013 in the USB A port. Also you can get an Apple Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 Adaptor and plug the Samsung T5 into it with the usb c to usb c cable and get faster performance than with the USB port on your Mac Pro.

Q: Will this work with a KVM switch? I have a Windows laptop and now a MAC Pro 13" that I would like to connect to a KVM switch so that I can share a single monitor, keyboard & mouse. Keyboard & mouse are USB.

A: Your biggest issue is the Way this is formatted must be compatible with Mac Pro & Windows. Or have the Mac read and write as a Windows unit. Other option is to partition the drive in 2 parts. One Mac & Other part Windows. I would use it one one system alone. Use it on the system you use the most.
