• This item is designed to 13” mac pro, so if your 2019 model have Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C interface then it may work.

• Hey Mabelle, No, this dock will not work with your 2009 Macbook Pro. This dock only work with 13" MacBook Pro with Retina display (Model A1425 (2013) and A1502 (2014)) .
