“Will PCmover Ultimate work if all I have available is the hard drive from the old laptop which was Windows 10 (it does not power up at all and the memory is bad)? The new computer is Windows 11.”

Sorry, either the computer must be in working order or the drive from the computer must be working via a docking station etc.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If the old machine is dead, you will have an obvious challenge getting the data off of it into the new machine. You might be able to get it to work if either the new machine will actually let you install the old hard drive internally, or if you can get an adapter that will power up your old drive and let it connect to your new machine. PCMover has a capability to transfer files from an external hard drive. This is a complex enough problem so that, unless you are pretty competent technically, you may want to find a good tech support outfit to do it for you.
