A:AnswerHello Shel,
Great questions! The integrated rear rack on the XP4 has a heavy-duty max weight capacity of 150 lbs. You can absolutely install a child seat!
Once they outgrow a traditional child seat, you can also look into our Buddy Seat option to carry your favorite co-pilot!
A:AnswerNot sure exactly but I live next to a very large hill,. It is over two blocks long. I could not believe how great it can climb throttle only. I does 18 or 19 mph. If you pedal it’s like 23 or 24 mph.
A:AnswerHello Cindy,
All of our eBikes, including the XP4, come with a 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty that begins the day you receive your bike. You can find the full details of what is covered here: https://lectricebikes.com/pages/lectric-ebikes-manufacturers-warranty
Since you purchased your bike through Best Buy, we’d love to help you get that warranty activated!

Just let us know you bought your Lectric bike from Best Buy, and we’ll help you from there!
A:AnswerHey there! We suggest contacting your local Best Buy to confirm if they are participating in the tax rebate. The accessories available with the bike at Best Buy vary, so it's best to inquire with them about the current promotion.
A:AnswerThe Bike is only folded in the box. The only actual assembly is sliding seat into post and clicking peddles on. The rest of bike just unfolds and you lock the clamp down. Zero tools required. Then you will need to add air to the tires. Best Buy does not do returns for e-bikes, doubt they will assemble it, which this bike does not need.
A:AnswerGreat question! You can change your bike from Class 2 to Class 3 by following the steps on page 21 of your user manual. Here’s a quick walkthrough:
- Press and hold the up and down arrows on your control pad at the same time until the screen shows “P1.”
- Tap the power button to scroll through the settings until you reach “P08.”
- Use the up/down arrows to change the value from 32 to 100.
- Press and hold the up and down arrows again to return to the main screen.
- Hold the M button to power off the bike and save your changes.
Just a heads up, the throttle will still cap at 20 MPH. To reach up to 28 MPH, you'll need to be in Pedal Assist Level 5.
