It does not have a battery it's own and it draws power from the phone battery.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It draws a little bit of power when necessary from the phone. The phone knows the case is attached, and knows how to communicate with it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure about the exact location of the transmitter/receiver, but it gets power from the phone via magnetic inductance, meaning it doesn't actually plug into the phone. The power draw is minimal. My wife has this case, and I have the equivalent for the S10+, and whatever power the case is drawing from the phone doesn't even register; the phone doesn't drain any faster due to having it on there. Maybe if you flipped it open and closed repeatedly all day long you'd notice a LITTLE drain. But through normal everyday use, it's literally not noticeable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does indeed draw power from the phone (via the wireless interface). The draw is negligible and not at all noticeable in the course of my day.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It uses power from the phone but minimal.
