Good quality and features, could be more usable
This case is nicely made, and has unique features that make up for its high price. It has a grippy texture that is easy to hold onto, and feels like it will last. The LED display embedded in the front cover that shows the clock and notifications is a great touch - it reminds me of HTC's Dot View cases, but not as practical as the Samsung only has a small section in the upper part of the case and you can't interact with it through touch gestures. I appreciate being able to check the time and see notifications without having to open the case, but it only shows the type of notification, such as a text message, but not who it's from or a preview of the contents. If I get an email, text, or call I still have to open the case to see if it's worth checking or just spam. The card holder also has a tiny capacity, as it only holds one card well. Putting two or more cards in it stretches the holder, and the case begins to not close all the way. There really should be enough room to fit another card or two, as most people will have at least one ID and card they carry everywhere. This isn't so much a wallet replacement as it is place to conveniently stash a card or few bills in your phone. Overall it's a good case, and if you want the LED display feature there isn't anything else like it, but it would be so much better with just those two improvements in usability.

A Design Like No Other
Love the idea of keeping the cover on the phone at all times. Yes it does take calls simply by sliding the top portion of the protector with your thumb to the right. I also like seeing who is calling and can use the inhouse app on the phone to add unique icons to specific contacts so not to see their number displayed on the cover if others are looking over your shoulder. Great accessory to buy with the Samsung S9.
