Can anyone recommend a power cable or adapter that can be used on the lower part so that furniture can sit closer to the wall? I don't understand how the furniture sticking out 2-3" doesn't bother people. null

you could eliminate the bottom power, but keep the plate so you can still run wires up if you hard wire into an existing outlet.
