• Hi to answer your question. Yes there rough. That’s normal. But strands. I would say double check with the store that doesn’t seem normal.

• The ends of the channel may be a little rough with some plastic strands, but should be easy to lightly sand if needed. The channels should measure 30 inches each - if this is not the case please reach out to us at (800) 621-0049.
