“If I downgrade from win 10 Home to win 7 Pro, will I void my warranty ? On the shipping box it says the speed is 2.9 ghz. But an earlier answer above stated the speed is 3.2 ghz. Why is there a difference? Is there an extra slot to add a SSD?”

No, the warranty is not void if you downgrade the system to Windows 7 but an issue caused by the downgrade would not be covered by the manufacturer's limited warranty since the manufacturer is not responsible for the Windows 7 operating system. There is no additional slot for an SSD but you could replace the existing HDD with a compatible SSD.
