Yes, you can use your own wireless keyboard and mouse with this model rather than the wired keyboard and mouse that ships with the computer. If you are referring the wire management clip that is on the arm of the computer stand, yes, you can remove this clip from the stand.

I use it and at $39.95 it is a decent keyboard and mouse combination. I use The Logitech MK540 and I like it.
