There is a 30-day trial of McAfee virus protection installed on your computer from the factory which activates with the inital setup and activation of Windows 10. You do not need to use this McAfee Virus Protection Software. You can uninstall McAfee and then either use Windows defender or any other 3rd party virus protection software you choose.
