What do you mean…I’m working in a cloud? I did manage to find an old version of Office 2010. It’s working fine…at least for now. Best Buy Geek Squad has been very helpful.

I'm not a fan of windows 365 It creates a situation where you are dependent on somebody else's equipment functioning properly for yours to function as well. I chose to buy the ground-based version standard MS office suite but as far as getting just word by itself. I don't believe you can. And if you can, you will pay for it, but there are versions online which will serve your purpose, but you're working in a cloud, not on your computer.
