There is a Micro-SD card slot on the device that can be used to add more storage space to the device. The Windows 10 Home 32-bit operating system will use approximately 15GB of the 32GB storage space.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had about 10GB free after the inital setup
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To overcome the small storage problem, do the following: 1. Keep a USB stick inserted all the time, as an external HD. I had used 32 GB fine, but I suspect even 8GB may work. (MicroSD does not serve well for this purpose, since on early reboot times, it is not available, whereas USB stick is.) 2. In Settings -> Storage, let all new contents to be downloaded to USB drive. 3. When you hit the Win10 update error complaining low disk space, just specify the USB Driver and retry. 4. Between the above steps, it would help to run Disk Free utility to clean up temporary install files. After the above (uninstalled games, Office, but installed all my apps including Chrome,Adobe Reader, VPN client, other office apps) I now have 10.8 GB available in C: See the attached pictures below.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.9GB left after win10 and nothing installed out of the box. Windows says low disk space out of the box. I disabled uefi and installed ubuntu and now i have 24gb free space. There is micro sd card slot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm having fun tinkering with my 120S, was one of the lucky ones to get it for $99 over the Thanksgiving holiday, now I'm trying to use it to the maximum extent. One of the problems with the computer is 32GB is really small to start with, and then you have much less with the restore partition, etc. Copied the partition to a portable drive, then reformatted the drive and reinstalled a 'basic' W10, hoping that would get back some space. First tried W10 Home 32bit, but found certain things didn't work (like the touchpad) and that there are NO 32 bit drivers on the Lenovo site. So I went back to W10 Home 64bit. It looks like the 'embedded' product key worked to activate W10 even on a fresh reinstall. I then installed all the W10 updates. Originally when I tried doing this with the install the computer came with, it would hang due to lack of space. My end result is 6.5 GB free, and I'm using 4 GB for the apps I loaded (2.2 GB for Office 2010 Enterprise, 1 GB for other software I use for work, and nearly 1 GB of music, which I'm going to move to a micro SD card when it comes in. After moving the music, I should have 7.5 GB left. I don't mind using the micro sd slot to store files instead of the hard drive. I'll have to make sure to continually clear the drive of unnecessary space (CCleaner is good for this), and deleting older restore partitions when more Win10 updates come out. I am concerned that one of the future W10 updates may be too large to be able to continue to use the computer. We shall see.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don't buy it. There simply isn't enough memory to load Windows along with the upgrade and have more then 5 gigs left for programs and storage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This hard drive is simply too small to operate with windows 10. save yourself the pain and get a laptop with more storage. Windows 10 takes up more space, in the end with updates and all, than the 32 gb. It is a ripoff I fell for, sadly. Literally you will end up with negative gb of storage. The OS is too big, especially after the anniversary update (which will not load into my system bc of space issue.) and there is nothing on my CP but a couple of documents. and yes you can get a micro sd card but that does not solve the problem for some stupid reason. and windows continually trying to do the update and there is no way to get rid of the update assistant , so you have to shut down these update reminders everyday. and the manager at best buy told me I was right but too bad, you should have bought a better computer, and we still sell them ! like that is a good thing! Ha! Thanks a lot Ryan.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this model does not have m2 connectors (I opened the laptop using T5 torx ). Another answer has link to 110 model but it is not applicable to this model (120)
