The customer cannot replace the battery. Depends on use most batteries last a good 2-3 years depending on how many times you charge it also this is really basic laptop for document editing, web browsing and some low res youtube videos I wouldn't keep this for a long long time unless your doing basic stuff and storing most documents, pictures, file in the cloud or on a external HDD or micro SD card.

It is replaceable by a certified technician.
