yes and yes, uninstalling preloaded makes life easier or is even required in some circumstances, takes 30 seconds

In order to keep the program active after the trial period, you will need use the product key (25-digit number) that came with the Microsoft Office subscription you currently have. You will not need to download any additional software. If you have any issues, you should contact Microsoft directly via their web site or their Customer Service phone number.
