Hey once again luislast, Based on test results with current Lenovo storage and memory offerings and user reviews, this IdeaPad 1i features one memory soldered to systemboard, and one DDR4 SODIMM slot open, enabling up to 24GB of memory if you add a 16GB DDR4-3200 memory module. Also, this IdeaPad features one storage slot, so if you want to upgrade storage, you could swap out the preinstalled 256GB drive for an M.2 2242 SSD with a higher capacity--4TBs for example. Please feel free to reach out to us with any other questions!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to Google, the OFFICIAL upgrade limit is 2TB storage and 16GB RAM. However, ANECDOTALLY, users have stated that the RAM can go up to 40GB (if the preinstalled RAM, which is soldered in, is 16GB).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It states this model has 16GB of RAM, if you add 16 more, wouldn't it be 32GB or RAM?
