I had a similar problem once. First of all, try switching positions with you husband, to see if there is some peculiarity with his physical position and/or yours. Second, try using the internet under the same circumstances, but when he isn't also connected. Third: are your computers of different ages (one year or more), or running different versions of Windows? Four: does it happen all the time, or occasionally? At the start of a session, after a short time, or after a long period of work? Five: Have Lenovo's updating instructions made any difference? If none of the above factors pertain, my first guess is that the WiFi card in your computer is failed, or failing. If you, your husband, or some other convenient person are technically inclined, someone can open the laptop and physically replace it. Otherwise, the simplest remedy is for you to add an external WiFi adapter like those on this BB page: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpage.jsp?st=usb+internet+adapters&id=pcat17071 Once connected, these cards usually self-install; you should see a message onscreen saying "your device is ready to use," or something like that, after a couple of minutes. Let everyone know what works!

To try to resolve this, first, we recommend first ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button. (If switched out of Windows 11 Home in S mode) Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button. Alternatively, if your system is in S mode, to apply network driver updates for your model IdeaPad, you can visit this Lenovo Support site: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/1-series/ideapad-1-15iau7/82qd/82qd00hmus/downloads/ds556197-wlan-driver-intel-realtek-for-windows-11-64-bit-ideapad-3-14iau7-ideapad-3-15iau7-ideapad-3-17iau7-v14-g3-iap-v15-g3-iap-v17-g3-iap-ideapad-1-14iau7-ideapad-1-15iau7?category=Networking%3A%20Wireless%20LAN Select the download button and follow the instructions to ensure installation completes. We recommend restarting your laptop when updates are done. If after the available updates are applied and the system restarts, yet the issue persists, in-depth troubleshooting will be necessary to fix the problem.
