According to the Crucial website for this laptop they do sell an additional 16gb ram stick. Just purchased it myself and installed it yesterday. The laptop is currently showing 24gb of ram with the addition. Will update if I run into any issues. But laptop ran perfectly out of the box, with its ore installed ram better than I expected.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There has been some confusion regarding the laptop's RAM upgradeability. It would be helpful if BestBuy could collaborate with manufacturers to clarify this information when listing products. Based on the available information, the laptop comes with 8GB of onboard memory and has an additional slot that can accommodate an 8GB SODIMM 3200 module. In the worst-case scenario, if the RAM upgrade doesn't work as expected, you can take advantage of the 15-day return policy.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m not sure. The thing is I spent $430 for this laptop with 512GB. And this is after I bought a HP via Amazon for $600. Yes! I bought, it arrived, I set it up…password access, et al, did some web surfing and turned it off. Knowing the ordeal to get the “thang” setup, I decided to give myself a day or so. Then to my horror, when I turned it back on I got nothing but a black screen! Seriously. Off it went back to Amazon. I was really annoyed and frustrated. If you expect to need more, buy it now. I had 1T hard drive on the HP I sent back….but a black screen…goodness!
