Yes. There's plenty of processor, space may be a problem if you want to use big Linux apps, there is about 40GB to carve up on mine.

I had already gone ahead and ordered this laptop before I saw your answer, but as you previously stated, the Linux option performs well. My previous Chromebook was based on ARM, and did run LInux fine, but I was limited to the non x86 applications ported to Linux. I am pleased now to be able to have a wider variety of Linux apps thanks to the x86 based N100 processor. Nice to have the flexibility of the Google ecosystem as well as Linux.
