1000, not 2500. Use a hub if you want that higher speed, but its a moot point with this machine really, this is not a high performance machine, and would not benefit as much, due to the technical way they designed the motherboard and how they connected (or did not even use in this case) some of the PCIe lanes. But you should be able to set duplex and get 2000 on this or almost any network 1000, if you know about that.
