• Yes But make sure to put the higher gb memory in the slot 1 and move lower gb to second slot

• It has 2 slots, 1 is taken by an 8GB RAM module, the other can have whatever, up to 32GB module. But recommend you use dual channel. If you add 16GB module, it will do 8x2 dual channel, and then the last 8 will be single channel, which is 100% ok, even for games.
