An M.2 2280 will fit, but you will need screws and standoffs for it. You can find kits online that have both in a variety of sizes for less than 8 dollars. Pick up one of those so that you can mount it properly. It does not ship with these items. The 8GB of memory is generic SK Hynix. However, this could vary from system to system. They simply use whatever memory is the cheapest at the time. I would suggest buying a matching pair kit. With 16GB (8GBx2) 3200 and then simply sell the 8GB it came with. This way you are sure that everything is going to work. Crucial is my go to brand and is what I used to upgrade mine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, Not sure of the brand of RAM it comes with but I added an 8 gig stick of PNY RAM, giving me a total of 16 gigs and it's working perfectly. I also added an additional Crucial M.2 2280 1 TB SSD and it's working perfectly as well so I'm sure the Samsung you mentioned will work too. Hope this helps!
