I'd think so. At this size it's hard to distinguish between 1080 and 4k. More depends on your video card.

I have my PS4 connected with a converter I use for audio and the quality is great.

This is a great general purpose IPS/HD monitor, with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. It has a refresh rate of 7ms. Check with the specific game publisher for their requirements for a monitor then compare those requirements to this monitor's configuration.
