Regarding the latter question, this LOQ 15 has worked out well for many students who also game on the system, but it can also depend on if you must be quite mobile with the laptop, as some in reviews have shared that the larger laptop profile (with the system designed for gaming and cooling performance) and power adapter have affected portability. • A:Answer Ignore this Anon answer, this 8gb stick upgrade works just fine, it boosted the ram from 16gb to 24gb just fine with 0 issues. I was able to find this 8gb upgrade for $20, compaired to most 16gb i found where $80 for questionable ones, and $100-$120 for name brand.
