Hey tankdriver95, This LOQ 15 does feature a 247W power adapter than is a sizable difference if you're accustomed to smaller 65 or 90W USB-C power adapters. Regarding the latter question, this LOQ 15 has worked out well for many students who also game on the system, but it can also depend on if you must be quite mobile with the laptop, as some in reviews have shared that the larger laptop profile (with the system designed for gaming and cooling performance) and power adapter have affected portability.
