Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I always turn the power strip off that includes the A/C plug-in for my Smart Clock when I leave for work. This is a near daily occurrence and I have yet to have an issue w/ the device not waking me up the next morning. Just remember to make sure it's connected to your wifi if the device has been without power or if you wifi device goes down because of an outage. I only say that because, without the wifi, the device may not sync to exactly what time it is or may compromise features because of the loss of connectivity. Every time I power my unit back on it immediately starts looks for the wifi and will not allow me to access any features until it's found a connection again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Answered my own question. I powered the device down for 20 seconds (that's the time it takes for my emergency generator to kick in), and it came back on with the alarm intact. Don't know where the device stores it's alarms.
