To be able to provide a more accurate answer, could you ask a follow up question to let us know what device you would like to reset to default settings or if you are referring to the Smart Connect app that connects the M9 to your Lenovo laptop? In the meantime, you could try to unlink, then link your M9 to the Smart Connect app again, ensuring Bluetooth and other permissions are continuously enabled to help ensure the connection between devices is stable.

Please try again later.Lenovo's reply is comprehensive, but just to add: most tablets and smartphones can be easily reset to factory conditions by long-pressing the power button and choosing factory-reset or by using the search function in Settings. This makes the device what it was when you took it out of the box (at least electronically).
