Yes. It is not the brightest device I've used, but 400 nits is just enough to be usable in sunlight. However, under direct sunlight, the glossy screen is going to make everything difficult.

"tokranepo" is correct. Deep shadow would probably be the brightest you could comfortably view the screen. What you could do, if you know the brightness of your phone or other device, is try to compare that to the 400 nits rating Lenovo quotes, then decide for yourself.

Yes, of course, as long as you're sure to cover it in a minimum of 50 SPF sunscreen. And reapply every 2 hours, sooner if it goes swimming.
