Yup, the speakers and screen make it more suited for video or games, but I like have a book in split screen that I am referencing and researching in the other window.

Hi Michael, You can use the Tab Plus an e-reader and download the Kindle app to access the Kindle library. A notable difference between the two devices is that the Tab Plus features a glossy display finish while a Kindle usually features a matte or anti-glare finish.
