“How well does replace an Amazon Fire for reading books?”

• Hi, MarcusAurelius. It could work well for that use, as the Tab Plus features an e-reader mode to be easier on the eyes and increase battery life. Although, if you read often in direct lighting, the glossy finish on the display could cause glare, taking away from your viewing experience.

• I use the kindle app to read with on this device with no issues. There are various modes in the settings of this tablet, and I believe one of them is for reducing eye strain. I have never used an Amazon Fire, but I imagine it would be the same.
