I would say yes but I don't know the RAM capacity/CPU on the 9i which would be the greatest factors. If the 9i comes with more than 16GBs of ram and a 1360p I would definitely pick it. If it only has 16GBs of ram I would maybe shop around as Chrome tabs are notoriously RAM intensive and 16 GBs of ram will be cutting it close for you
