As long as it is brand new it does. You can check on lenovo.com for the warranty. If you buy it as an open box, chances are the laptop was used for more than an year and then returned with an expired warranty (like in my case with the one I bought from BestBuy). If the warranty has already expired, then if anything is faulty you have to pay for the repairs yourself.
